What is the teaching language in the Institute?
Courses in the IURS are taught in Hebrew.
English-speaking students may complete coursework and tests in English.

The requirement for enrolling in MA program is completion of a BA degree with a minimum average of 82.
If you wish to write a thesis, the required minimum BA avergae is 85 or the same avergae in your first year of Master's studies.
Students who earned their BA in a major other than Geography are required to supplement the following courses:
- Intro to GIS
- Intro to Statistics
- Economic Geography
Usally, two years.
While most classes can be taken within one school year, this is not advised.
Students who require more than three supplementary courses will likely take three years to complete the full requirements.
All classes in the institue are scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:30 am - 8:00 pm.
Each student is individually responsible for arranging their schedule.
